My name is Alice, which in Italian we pronounce as /al’itʃe/. Basically, the only difference is that the ‘ce’ sounds just like the ‘che’ in cheddar. And the stress is on the i.
I was born in Italy (I bet you’re all surprised) and learned how to read when I was still in kindergarten. Now I’m twenty-something and I run a book blog. Fate was obviously trying to tell me something at the age of 5.
As you might have guessed, I talk primarily about books on all my social media platforms. Not consistently, though. That is a level of blogging I have not yet reached. But I’m working on it. Just as I’m working on reading the books I already own before purchasing new ones: the idea is there, the execution is… taking its time.
I also like drawing (and dreaming I were a skilled artist), and I have an (un)healthy obsession with cats. As if that wasn’t enough already, I’m trying to study Japanese and Swedish, but there’s a loooong way ahead of me.
Oh, I also study law at university. But that’s only plan B.
